CONCEPT
NOX ILLUMINATA is a pop up festival with flair, where classical music collides with jazz, rock, impro, minimal and a healthy sniff of theatre, dance and art.
Cool lighting, imaginative stages and staging, programme-specific scenery all help to create a atmosphere with attitude.
Way more than just a concert ... classical music has never seen such a party!
CREATION
NOX ILLUMINATA was set up ten years ago in Basel by Ann Allen - a specialist in early music with a love of all things theatrical and an even bigger love of partying.
Since then the festival has been snapped up by the Festspielhaus St Pölten (Austria) and at the Burghof Lörrach (Germany)
